Quest Alliance and State Street Collaborate To Provide Skills Training For Youth

As part of the MyQuest program, we partnered with State Street to improve employability for youth in Vocational Training Institutes (VTIs) in Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Details

This project provides training to 400 VTI students between the ages of 18-25, with women constituting around 30% of the group. It aims to equip young learners from marginalized communities with essential 21st century skills and core employability skills that will enable them to integrate and confidently navigate the labour market.

The curriculum uses a blended-learning methodology aided by the Quest App, offering modules for communicative English, work readiness, digital literacy, life skills and other skills required to start and build careers.

Industry engagement is an important component of the project. With our network of placement officers, guest sessions, and sector focused career days, we bridge the industry-institute gap. The project also provides institutions support with tech infrastructure.
