Jebasty runs multiple businesses. From having a reselling business on the Meesho App to selling handmade soaps, she claims the key to success is to never have all your eggs in one basket.

Jebasty credits the online self-employment sessions (YEP) organized by Quest Alliance during the pandemic in helping her clock profits in her businesses.

The online sessions also motivated Jebasty to revisit her reselling business and restart her business despite the initial disappointments. Jebasty now makes up to Rs. 15,000 per month. She is saving up from her reselling business for her boutique. The ITI education along with support from Quest Alliance has assured her that her dreams are not really impossible.

In the online sessions, Jebasthy was considered a role-model for other women as she was one of the few students, who already had some experience running a small business.

“I had lost all hope and confidence, as my family refused to support me. But, things have changed for the better post the online self-employment sessions. I feared talking to  people but now approach customers on my own and talk to them about my products. This has helped with sales and I see myself getting one step closer to my dreams,” she added.

Jebasty claims that it is only a matter of time before she will expand and ensure that her businesses are a household name all across the country.
