About the Role :

The State Lead will lead the intervention in the state by working closely with a team of Education Specialist Program Managers, coordinators and officers. The State lead will be responsible for ensuring implementation of all project deliverables. We are looking for an experienced person who has prior experience having worked in Education programmes while having a perspective on the content thematics (coding/ computational skills) of the program. The role will anchor all govt relations, and oversee content development, and capacity-building programmes. The manager should be well versed in understanding analysis and drive reviews using the same. 

The position will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with non-profits, policy makers and govt. Stakeholders at the state and district level.

State Strategy –  Design, Operationalisation and Review

  • Anchor the state strategy aligning it to program and organizational priorities and systems change lens 
  • Develop the state plan and ensure its operationalisation and achievement of goals with quality
  • Ensure all state strategies have clear operational plans detailed out as quarterly milestones and monthly plans (curriculum development, chatbot, capacity building) 
  • Develop the long term state strategy and plan with clear budgets and team structures for the state from 3-5 year lens 
  • Support the BD team with proposal development, donor engagement and identifying state specific fundraising opportunities 
  • Monthly field visits to interact with the learners, teachers, headmasters and district officials to gauge the effectiveness of the program from the stakeholder lens.

Project and Budget Management 

  • Contribute to overall program processes – funder engagement, research, communication and dissemination
  • Ensure project deliverables are met as per program plan and donor commitments 
  • Ensure donor reporting happens as per timelines and with quality – capturing project learning and insights 
  • Ensure financial forecasting is in place for each project and the spent plan is as per forecast (no underspent/overspent) with maximum focus on the key constituency when it comes to prioritizing spent decisions
  • Anchor the financial management to ensure audit compliance, review of the monthly project spent report to check for consistency and discrepancies 

Advocacy and Thought Leadership 

  • Identify opportunities at the state level from an advocacy and strategic partnership lens to deepen Quest’s thought leadership work 
  • Drive the advocacy agenda for the state as per the program plan – relationship building with Andhra SSA and SCERT and other relevant departments 
  • Develop a clear action plan for advocacy for mainstreaming the curriculum in the education ecosystem and facilitating policy level change, 
  • Ensure every 6 months JPRMS are conducted and become strategic spaces for multi stakeholder dialogue – including the donor and the govt officials 
  • Participate actively in all consortiums and external forums as Quest’s representatives and integrate the org agenda into the different spaces
  • Streamline the planning, implementation and review process with the partners in Andhra Pradesh
    Knowledge Partnerships 
  • Anchor the program strategy and execution for knowledge partnerships
  • Align the KP strategy with the org strategy 
  • Manage the IELE team 

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Ensure that the team has a good understanding of the monitoring tools and dashboards
  • Ensure that the data coming in from monitoring tools is reviewed jointly by the team and is integrated in reviews with partners and within the team 
  • Ensure that the quality of monitoring data coming in is of good quality and leading to insights and reflections on the program strategy 
  • Ensure state reviews are streamlined with the thematic leads and other relevant stakeholders and become spaces for reflections and deepening the synergy between org, program and state strategy, ensure data and qualitative insights are being used to drive reflection and deepen the strategic thinking 

Team Building and Development 

  • Invest in creating learning opportunities for the team to learn from other teams in the program and in Quest 
  • Ensure participation of team members in program and organization related team spaces/forums/processes 
  • Build a culture of open communication, critical thinking and agency within the team
  • Ensure that the team members understand the big picture – org priorities and program strategies and its alignment with state/thematic strategy

Required skills and Experience: 

  • Minimum 7-8 years of work experience, in implementing blended learning content for school-related projects 
  • Hands-on experience with working on coding/ computational  skills/ STEM and life and career skills for school students
  • Prior experience working in government schools and managing programmes at scale
  • Prior experience in facilitating training and workshops for the govt. Teachers and officials at the district/state level
  • Willingness to learn and influence prevalent practices in the education ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of the National Education Policy and State Curriculum Framework 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English and Odia (preferred) 
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams 

Salary: The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 1,25,000/- per month (cost to company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)

About the Role : 

Quest Alliance has been working in the secondary schools for the past few years. In 2020, we rolled out a program to build 21st century skills and STEM mindsets among adolescent girls (grade 6th to 12th) from government schools. One of the key areas of QUEST’s work is around building computational thinking among adolescents and youths. Specifically in Andhra, we will be working with the State Education Department on institutionalizing Artificial Intelligence and Career into the academic curriculum over the next 5 years.

We are looking for an experienced person who has worked in the area of education technology, curriculum development and educator capacity building with a focus on government school systems. The role of the Learning Experience Manager is going to be critical in anchoring and strengthening the overall curriculum development process, internal educational technology thought process especially on Artificial Intelligence and Career, and the overall internal and external capacity building.

Roles And responsibilities : 

Curriculum Development, Capacity Building and Implementation support 

  • Anchor the Future Skills (Artificial Intelligence and Career) curriculum design and delivery with quality and the region’s capacity building for all its stakeholders, ensuring all deliverables are met.

  • Understand existing content, research, customize, create, curate based on the needs of the State and its stakeholders.

  • Take responsibility for effective curriculum creation, curation, and capacity building for Internal team, Educators, School Heads and Govt officials.

  • Put in place a curriculum outline and flesh out the session plans for each year, as per the overall State direction and plan.

  • Co-create the curriculum along with Educators and Learners by designing the overall learning environment and experience along with the internal team.

  • Anchor discussions with internal and external teams (consultants) and follow the processes to onboard consultants/agencies in content development and/or training, as needed.

  • Identify and design the learning journey of Educators, School Heads, Students and the Quest internal implementation team : the key stakeholders.

  • Put together capacity building design and plans for all key stakeholders and facilitate the capacity building as a Master Trainer.

  • Provide coordination support for curriculum design, content curation, capacity building and facilitation by working closely with the central Learning Experience Team.

  • Ensure that there is a plan for implementation of the content and regular catch-up and monitoring to see its effectiveness to feedback into closing gaps/loops.

  • Be present in and anchor curriculum review meetings with the State departments like the SCERT and SSA as per the State plan.

  • Drive experimentation and innovation strategies in the domain of learning experience including content, curriculum and capacity building for the State.

  • Work closely with the State lead and the State program coordination team to develop a roadmap for content and capacity building requirements.

  • Work closely on new content projects and learning experience journeys as they emerge within the Schools program ecosystem based on the State’s requirements.

  • Collaborate with the M&E team to ensure the data capturing framework is in line with the overall curriculum framework and capacity building design.

  • Collaborate with the research team to create frameworks to understand learner and educator personas.

  • Collaborate with the State education department for periodic review and course correction of the curriculum.

  • Create and maintain a Community of Practice of the right Educator personas to build a movement and uptake around the Future Skills curriculum in the State in the long term.

  • Collaborate with the communications team to prepare and disseminate content on specific content related themes.

  • Ensure relevant Case stories, testimonials and more are documented in an easy and accessible manner so they can be shared with the Communications team, donors as part of the reporting process, and in other internal as well as external communication channels and forums as needed.

  • Build capacities of internal team members to introduce the curriculum to all the key stakeholders, demonstrate content related activities in schools.

  • Build capacities of team members to ensure implementation of activities, templates and frameworks created for key stakeholders capacity building.

  • Collaborate strongly with the State coordination team to ensure excellent teamwork and quality of output and deliverables as per the State plan year on year.

  • Be available for regular line management meeting and the appraisal processes 

  • Work with the monitoring and evaluation focal persons to develop monitoring and reporting systems aligned with Strategic Framework and donor requirement

  • Work together with M&E or data focal point to track program Progress based on the Monitoring and Evaluation framework.

  • Ensure all the relevant data for your program is available on time for reporting to different internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Ensure the monitoring tools are understood by the team and are used for reporting in coordination with the State M&E PoC.

  • Submit all the relevant monitoring reports on time. Ensure all the relevant data for the project is available well in time.

  • Ensure the program process is documented and enough case studies are in place to show the impact or progress of the program. 

  • Ensure the data is analyzed and fed into the planning and review meeting.

  • Anchor the Level 3 reviews at a State level along with the State coordination team, ensuring the decks and the reviews happen in a smooth, timely and productive manner.

Required skills and Experience: 

  • Minimum 9-10 years of work experience, in implementing school transformation approaches in the government school context.

  • Hands-on experience of working with artificial intelligence (AI) and coding/ computational  skills/ STEM is non-negotiable.

  • Added experience of working with Life/Career skills, Gender and other allied thematics is a plus.

  • Prior experience in curriculum development, implementation design, working with State education departments and educator capacity building 

  • Willingness to learn and influence prevalent practices in education ecosystem

  • Relevant education qualifications for handling pedagogy, STEM, gender and life skills content

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English with a preference for Telugu speakers (at least a working fluency of the language would be desirable)

  • Excellent IT skills

  • Willingness to travel extensively

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members

About the Program:

Since launching in 2019, the program has directly reached over 4L+ learners in 20,000 schools, influencing computational thinking across Schools of Excellence (SOE) in Gujarat.

As Program Manager you would lead the state- school level intervention in Gujarat, ensuring the rollout of the school program focused on computational thinking, coding, and career pathways among government school students.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Co-shape the state strategy, annual work plans, and budgeting processes for the Gujarat Schools Program in collaboration with the Senior Program Manager.
  • Support engagement with government bodies and funders, and represent Quest in relevant forums as needed.
  • Assist in the development of concept notes, proposals, and strategies for external stakeholder engagement.

Program Implementation & Operations

  • Ensure timely execution of program deliverables across schools in Gujarat.
  • Maintain quality benchmarks for effective implementation.
  • Coordinate field visits, monthly reviews, and progress reporting.

Mainstreaming and Sustainability Initiatives

  • Take ownership of ensuring the effective implementation of the following key initiatives through close coordination with the district level team:
  • Enable learner participation in ideathon and hackathon processes to build future skills, supported by teacher-led facilitation across the selected districts in Gujarat.
  • Enable teacher-led adoption of computational thinking by engaging learners through ideathon and hackathon processes focused on future skill-building.
  • Facilitate learner engagement through empowered teachers across Gujarat.
  • Oversee the establishment of Master Trainer (MT) groups in selected districts and the formation of District Resource Groups (DRGs) in target districts to build local capacity, foster sustainability, and provide support as needed.
  • Build stakeholder capacity to champion computational thinking pedagogy and create systems to sustain this approach.
  • Lead the collaboration with state and district departments to co-create a sustainability roadmap with Quest.

Reporting, Documentation

  • Oversee  documentation and reporting to donors and government stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely submission of case studies, data, and stories of change.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Set clear goals and work plans for state and district team members.
  • Mentor and coach program officers/coordinators to build their capacity and ownership.
  • Uphold HR policies, support staff welfare, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Update work regularly on Jira to enhance cross-functional collaboration and visibility.
  • Model professionalism through timely and respectful communication.
  • Actively engage in planning and review processes to support shared ownership and team alignment.

Thought Leadership & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Support in strengthening institutional relationships with GCERT, SSA, and other district-level actors to embed and sustain computational thinking in Gujarat’s education system.
  • Contribute to positioning Quest Alliance as a thought partner in the secondary school education ecosystem by showcasing the relevance of future skills for adolescent learners.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–8 years of experience leading blended-learning programs in school education.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing projects, meeting tight deadlines, and leading teams.
  • Expertise in coding, computational thinking, STEM, and life/career skills.
  • Experience engaging with government school systems and scaling interventions.
  • Proficiency in designing and facilitating training for educators and education officials.

Role Summary

The Career Support Assistant will play a key role in enabling the smooth delivery of employability and placement-related interventions in government-run Women ITIs (WITIs) and NSTIs. This role supports trainers and institute leadership in driving career development activities, engaging with industries, and fostering student readiness for employment and self-employment opportunities. The position demands strong facilitation skills, familiarity with skilling ecosystems, and a gender-sensitive approach to supporting young women in vocational education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a basic understanding of vocational training and employability trends in India.
  • Stay informed about opportunities available to students post-ITI, including jobs, internships, and self-employment.
  • Gain working knowledge of the Quest App and support its effective use among students and trainers.
  • Understand and apply youth-friendly facilitation techniques and inclusive pedagogy.
  • Identify gender-specific challenges faced by women in TVET and integrate relevant responses into daily support.
  • Make regular visits to WITIs/NSTIs to support the delivery of Employability Skills and placement initiatives.
  • Assist institute trainers in the setup and facilitation of Career Clubs and Placement Cells.
  • Provide on-ground support in implementing career sessions, exposure visits, job drives, and market scans.
  • Ensure trainers and students are oriented on using digital platforms like the Quest App and Bharat Skills portal.
  • Help collect student data, success stories, and other documentation related to program impact.
  • Participate in institute events, parent meetings, and community campaigns to promote career readiness.
  • Coordinate with the Industry Engagement Manager and placement teams to support local employer outreach.
  • Identify and maintain connections with nearby industries, MSMEs, and SHGs for job or exposure opportunities.
  • Support trainers and placement cells in organizing industry engagement activities like guest lectures, job readiness sessions, and exposure visits.
  • Facilitate basic communication between industry partners and institute staff to ensure alignment and follow-up.

Required Attributes: 

  • Graduate in any discipline; a background in Social Work, Education, or Vocational Studies is a plus.
  • Fresher / 1–2 years of relevant experience in youth facilitation, employability, or education-related roles preferred.
  • Prior exposure to working with ITIs, NSTIs, or vocational training institutions is desirable.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with digital tools, data collection, and report generation.
  • Ability to travel locally and engage with multiple stakeholders.

About the Program:

MyQuest’s objective is to provide a holistic development platform for young people as well as provide a lifelong, continuous learning opportunity to disadvantaged youth. We use content, pedagogy and technology, to drive the delivery of teaching and learning. Through our signature blended learning approach we develop critical life-work skills that are critical for success in the 21​st century. Role Overview:

The role will work as part of the Youth program team and coordinate with other members of the QUEST team to ensure efficient and effective implementation of projects undertaken by QUEST Alliance. This role will Support partner organizations in Program delivery and ensure quality of delivery by team management. Oversee all the work of VTI, CSO Initiatives and Lisoning with Govt. departments for transfer of experiences and knowledge resources  in the western region.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Operational oversight of all work with VTIs, CSOs and Govt. bodies in the western region.
  • Support in the development of operational plans to achieve high quality delivery against program objectives, quality standards, and targets.
  • Build a CSOs network in the western region.
  • Support the Sr. Program Manager to regularly review processes and materials.
  • Lead on identifying and evaluate potential risks related to impact of the program and take necessary steps to include risk mitigation in program reviews and design
  • Ensure MyCareer & Gender becomes integral part of the program
  • Lead the data management of VTIs for your region
  • Ensure all the relevant data is available on time
  • Ensure the monitoring tools are understood by the team and is used for reporting

About the Role

About the role: 

We are hiring a Program Officer to support the implementation of our Schools Program in Karnataka, with a focus on the Master Trainer Cascade & Governance. This role will focus on effective program delivery by leading the implementation, monitoring, and governance alignment of the Master Trainer (MT) cascade across 11 districts in the current phase, with a long-term vision to expand to 31 districts. It will involve managing and mentoring Program Associates and Master Trainers, facilitating student-led innovation events like Ideathons and Hackathons, and engaging with state-, district-, and block-level education officials.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in the education ecosystem, strong training and communication, collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of working with government systems and education programs. The Program Officer will also work closely work with the state team to strengthen capacity building for Master Trainers, facilitate state and district-level adoption of Computational Thinking (CT) and Collaborative Learning (CL), and embed program tools and frameworks into government systems for sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Master Trainers, Program Associates, DIET, DCOs, and other stakeholders to ensure cascade training quality

  • Develop and adapt training, session plans, facilitation guides, and governance documents for MT delivery, collaborating with the state learning experiential (LE) team.

  • Lead pilots, classroom observations, and joint visits with program associates and MTs to ensure high-quality facilitation.

  • Monitor MT school allocations and ensure MTs’ engagement with assigned schools.

  • Plan and support in facilitating school and district-level innovation events and share-outs.

  • Support Program Associates with content queries and technical escalations via chatbot and WhatsApp.

  • Facilitate and document district-level innovation and reflection events for MTs and educators.

  • Organize state and block-level MT review calls and district-level department updates.

  • Coordinate and support cascade training delivery with MTs, Program Coordinators, and DIETs.

  • Attend and assist in in-person training across blocks/districts.

  • Work with governance stakeholders to embed monitoring frameworks into the government system for sustainability.
  • Work closely with KREIS ecosystem to mainstream teacher led approach in 11 districts in the current year to 31 districts over 3 years period 
  • Understand the processes of KREIS department for communication and implementation and ensure adherence to it 
  • Represent the organization as and when required at external forums, conferences, and meetings.
  • Be informed of opportunities to collaborate with department officials for the programmatic vision. 
  • Support the organization in fostering a culture of proactive advocacy.
  • Support and mentor assigned Program Associates, ensuring clarity in roles, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, provide guidance, and solve implementation challenges.

About Role:

The Operations Manager will support and optimize financial resource allocation, ensure compliance, manage grants, and support strategic initiatives within the Youth program. Role Overview : 

The Program Associate will play a critical role in the implementation of initiatives aimed at strengthening 35 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) within the Mangalore region division, based out of Mangalore. This position involves close collaboration with institute leadership, trainers, government stakeholders, and internal teams to enhance training quality, build institutional capacity, and support long-term sustainability of ITIs in alignment with the state’s systemic reform roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Program Implementation & Capacity Building

  • Lead the implementation of program activities across 35 ITIs, ensuring alignment with agreed standards and timelines.
  • Build collaborative relationships with institute principals and support their institutional development journey.
  • Develop and implement a structured regional work plan, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones across ITIs.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assist trainers in curriculum planning, content delivery, and improved teaching practices.
  • Facilitate regular review and reflection meetings with center heads, trainers, and other stakeholders to monitor progress and address challenges.
  • Document key learnings, insights, and best practices to support program refinement and scalability.
  • Support institutes in becoming self-reliant by empowering trainers and placement officers to independently sustain improvements.
  • Participate in internal content reviews and contribute to capacity-building sessions for the broader team.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with government officials, institute heads, placement officers, and facilitators across the Mysore region division.
  • Collaborate with the internal placement team to implement industry engagement strategies for improved student outcomes.
  • Coordinate with the state’s Placement Manager and Apprenticeship Advisors to drive employment-linked interventions.
  • Represent the organization in relevant district and regional-level stakeholder meetings.

Team Facilitation & Mentorship

  • Support facilitators in creating and executing detailed work plans for each assigned ITI.
  • Provide mentorship to reportees to ensure effective on-ground implementation and encourage expansion to additional institutes when required.
  • Build the facilitation team’s capacity to act as regional resource leaders and peer mentors.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting in collaboration with the M&E team.
  • Facilitate the implementation of baseline, endline, and other evaluation tools across ITIs.
  • Maintain up-to-date student and placement records in the centralized database.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly progress reports and success stories from each institute.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual review processes through detailed documentation and insights.
  • Develop and maintain systems for tracking placement data and analyzing outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in program implementation, institutional development, or capacity-building roles, preferably in the skilling or education sector.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with data monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the Mangalore region division.

Salary: The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 30,000/- per month (cost to company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)

About the Role

Quest Alliance is seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead and strengthen its IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and governance frameworks. This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for managing multi-location IT operations, ensuring robust data protection, supporting compliance, and enabling seamless digital transformation. The role demands strong leadership, vendor engagement skills, and a commitment to empowering teams across regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & Asset Management

  • Maintain 100% accurate and up-to-date IT Asset and Employee Register (quarterly reviews).
  • Develop and implement SOPs for asset disbursement, infrastructure management, vendor empanelment, and onboarding processes.
    Oversee setup and maintenance of IT systems: servers, firewalls, routers, switches, UPS, CCTV.
  • Procure IT hardware/software and manage vendor relationships across regions.
  • Track the lifecycle of laptops and assets to inform strategic decisions.

2. IT Governance & Compliance

  • Lead the rollout of Quest’s IT Governance Framework and Data Governance Charter.
  • Institutionalize the digital tool approval process and drive team-wide compliance.
  • Support compliance audits and maintain policy documentation to ensure ≥90% compliance.
  • Guide teams on IT policies, audit preparation, and security standards.

3. Data Privacy & Cybersecurity

  • Design and implement SOPs for access control, user and team permissions.
  • Deploy security protocols for email systems, networks, and device usage (BYOD policy).
  • Conduct bi-annual security audits, targeting 75% vulnerability reduction within six months.
  • Ensure 100% staff participation in cybersecurity awareness training.
  • Stay current on evolving threats and regularly update policies.

4. Business-As-Usual (BAU) Operations

  • Ensure timely execution of routine IT operations and support tasks across offices.
  • Maintain all critical systems including internet, network, server configurations, and software subscriptions.
  • Administer software and domains, including Google Workspace and internal platforms.
  • Provide field and remote support to partners, institutions, and staff.
  • Track, document, and report IT operations for audits and internal reviews.

5. Team and Culture Building

  • Cultivate a collaborative, reflective, and learning-oriented team culture.

  • Collaborate with program teams to create a monthly content calendar. Curate and develop platform-specific content, aligning it with organizational updates and priorities.
  • Write clear, engaging, and on-brand social media content. Ensure alignment with Quest Alliance’s tone, narrative, and style across all channels.
  • Plan and implement compelling and informative social media campaigns. Support both organic and paid campaigns, including collaborations with influencers.
  • Execute the finalized social media strategy across Quest Alliance and The Future Right Skills Network (FRSN) platforms, bringing alive communication objectives through timely and high-quality content.
  • Conduct weekly reviews and performance assessments. Generate monthly and quarterly analytics reports with actionable insights to enhance engagement and impact.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and supports brand safety across all owned and earned digital assets.
  • Work closely with the Marcomm team, program teams, and other stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met and campaigns reflect programmatic goals.
  • Support any other content or communication needs that arise within programs or organizational initiatives.
  • Plan and manage content for the monthly social media calendar, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and key organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate and publish content across all identified online platforms.
  • Support website-related content management tasks, including updates, uploads, and coordination as required.
  • Effectively use social media scheduling and listening tools (like Konnect Insights, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.) to plan, monitor, and optimize posts.

As a Research and Evaluation Coordinator, you will work closely with the Senior Manager – Research and Evaluation to design, implement, and disseminate impactful studies. Key Responsibilities

Research and Evaluation Design & Planning

  • Lead the design and development of research and evaluation frameworks, methodologies, and tools with a strong focus on qualitative approaches.

  • Frame evaluation questions using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods designs; define relevant indicators and data collection strategies that uphold ethical research practices.

  • Conduct literature reviews to support and contextualize ongoing studies.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Postgraduate degree in social sciences or a related field.

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in research and evaluation within the development sector.

  • Strong knowledge of current trends in evaluation and research both in India and globally.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing qualitative tools and conducting evaluations for educational programs focused on youth and adolescents.

  • Deep interest in the field of education and a strong commitment to working within high-performing teams.

  • Familiarity with participatory research and evaluation methods is a plus.

  • Strong skills in qualitative data analysis and the ability to synthesize findings into compelling, data-driven narratives.

About Role : 

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead project execution and Agile practices across teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycles, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

About the Role : 

We are looking for a proactive and committed Program Associate to support the implementation of the Youth Program across ITIs  of Madhya Pradesh. You will play a key role in driving employability skill development, enabling digital learning adoption, building strong partnerships with government institutions, and ensuring quality program delivery. This role requires strong facilitation, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills, along with the ability to monitor program progress and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective rollout of the Youth Program in assigned model and nodal ITIs across your region.
  • Facilitate 100% onboarding of facilitators and students on the Quest App and ensure access to digital content.
  • Guide trainers and institute teams towards self-sufficiency in delivering employability skills curriculum.
  • Lead and support content contextualization efforts based on local needs and feedback.
  • Conduct regular visits (fortnightly) to allocated ITIs to monitor implementation and provide on-ground support.
  • Plan and facilitate structured sessions for learners and facilitators focused on employability, life skills, and career readiness.
  • Lead or co-facilitate capacity-building workshops and ensure high-quality training delivery in line with program goals.
  • Implement the Principal Leadership Program across identified ITIs to strengthen institute leadership and engagement.
  • Develop operational plans to ensure smooth program implementation aligned with timelines, standards, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to regularly review processes, track progress, and adapt plans as needed.
  • Identify potential implementation risks and ensure timely mitigation to maintain program continuity.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports, student data, and other documentation.
  • Maintain records of program activities, including session reports, case studies, photographs, and success stories.
  • Submit comprehensive monthly implementation reports highlighting progress, challenges, and impact.
  • Support donor and stakeholder visits with relevant data and field insights.
  • Ensure data on student engagement, progression, and outcomes is regularly updated in the central database.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with government ITIs, trainers, principals, and other ecosystem actors in Madhya Pradesh.
  • Support institutes in organizing Career Connect activities, placement drives, alumni engagement, and self-employment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the placement team to achieve a minimum 45% placement rate, with a focus on nodal and women ITIs.
  • Lead the Change Project initiative within ITIs to encourage innovation, local problem-solving, and ownership.
  • Facilitate the formation of student hubs and functional placement cells at each participating ITI.

Required Attributes : Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate degree in Social Work, Education, Management, or a related field.
  • Freshers / 1-2 years of experience in program implementation, skilling initiatives, or youth development, preferably in the vocational training or government ecosystem.
  • Experience working with government stakeholders and training institutions in Madhya Pradesh is highly desirable.
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholders and geographies.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned zone.
  • Program coordination and implementation in education or skilling sectors.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and training delivery skills.
  • Ability to manage program data and contribute to monitoring and evaluation processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools; comfort with using digital learning platforms.

Role Overview :

Quest Alliance has been working with NGOs, community organizations, Industrial Training Institutes and Polytechnics for over a decade, helping them conceptualize and/or improve their skills training strategies for youth.

As Senior Program Manager, you will drive more the strategic aspects than the operational aspects of the Youth Program work for the region. You will ensure it is delivered with the highest quality by ensuring a clear vision and plan, the team is managed well and relationships are built at state and national level with government, NGOs etc. It is an exciting role for a person who has proven experience of working on multi state projects, involving government as well as civil society partners. 

You’ll lead a 60 people team, with 4-5 team members reporting to you directly. These will include Program Managers and Thematic Experts at regional level.

Key Responsibilities : 

Program Design and Management

  • Ensuring the regional work connects to the needs of the region as well as the larger program strategy. The team is aligned to as strong regional vision, rooted in realities of the region

  • Being on top of youth development trends and realities, being reflective, connecting the dots and giving meaningful direction and feedback to the team

  • Strong Perspective on the key thematics such as Career development , 21st century skills, gender, employability skills and hence planning advocacy efforts and alignment with the program strategy. Hold the teams accountable on the same and drive thought leadership

  • Being able to hold the scale and depth perspective at a regional level and being able to balance between the two

  • Using a consultative approach, grow the program in line with the organizational goals and national framework

  • Develop and incorporate program sustainability strategies into the existing and future program and projects

  • Ensure data that is generated from time to time is being looked at while making key decisions

Program Performance Management

  • Ensure strong system and processes are in place for operational excellence

  • Work closely with other teams who are contributing to the program 

  • Work with the monitoring and evaluation focal persons to develop monitoring and reporting systems aligned with Quest’s Strategic Framework and Project MoUs

  • Ensure reporting timelines and commitments are adhered to

  • Guide and support program team during program review processes

Relationship Building 

  • Build a thriving ecosystem of partners in the region and work towards making them into  a community of practice

  • Develop, maintain and manage different stakeholders relationship at national level and manage state level engagements (if needed)

  • Ensure ongoing management of partnerships with NGOs, CSOs and State governments as necessary for effective, coordinated delivery

  • Interface with the donor(s) regularly 

  • Support in writing proposals to grow the program

  • Hold and facilitate group spaces for conversations

Developing and Managing budgets

  • Development and management of regional budgets. 

  • Monitor program budget to ensure that spending is kept within the budgeted amount

  • Ensure that the existing finance procedures and policies are complied with

  • Contribute to local fundraising as well fundraising for the Org/Program

Team Management

  • Inspiring the team, build alignment that collaborate seamlessly, role model culture

  • Ensuring work connects to the big picture and the larger program strategy, and supporting the team in doing the same 

  • Drive innovation mindset with the team

  • Required Attributes: 

    • 10-12 years of work experience, in the development sector, preferably in the youth development and/or education sectors

    • Hands on experience of working with NGOs

    • Experience of managing projects, tight deadlines and teams of people for at least 5 years

    • Strong communication skills, written and oral in English and local language. Strong negotiation skills and articulation is key

    • Ability to questions things and ask good questions

    • Post Graduate degree/ qualifications in Youth Development/ International Development/ Social work/ Rural Development or Related field would be preferred

    • Ability to hold scale and depth perspective – at state/region level 

    • Ability to build strong key stakeholder relationships and build external visibility and branding for the work

    • Experience in managing M&E and project finances 

    • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in english and hindi 

    • Proven experience of networking and building relationships with government , NGOs and donors. Ability to train, build capacity of, and manage relationships with partner NGOs

    • Willingness to travel extensively

    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams

    • Build culture of learning and growth as well as regular reflections within the team
