Once a program is launched, learning how to monitor and evaluate its progress on a regular basis is paramount to its success; this is the objective of the Workshop on Monitoring and Evaluation.

In attendance at the workshop were program partners and experts on the national and international level who, together, were able to share ideas and form assessments.

During the course of the workshop, participants developed a thorough understanding of the need for program assessment and worked together in group sessions to draft a Monitoring and Evaluation plan for their respective programs.

In addition, they also received technical training that instructed them on how to identify indicators, develop data collection tools, develop their own evaluation plans, and discuss challenges and successes.
