My name is Sheikh Younus and I have studied till the 10th grade. I heard about this training program through a pamphlet which was left at my house. I understood that this program focused a lot on self – development, computer training & English. I am especially keen to learn computers and Basic English because this will help me regardless of which line I choose to work in. I joined the Retail training course because I have already worked in a marketing and sales role. I have worked as a salesman in distributing areca nuts across several cities in Gujarat and I feel this course will help me build on the knowledge I already have. In the last one month, I have already learnt a lot about how to manage customers and arrange, manage and promote products. After this, if I land a job in a supermarket or mall, I will have a good sense of my job role and what is expected of me. I have also already learnt the different roles that exist within a supermarket and what is expected of each of these functions.
After this 3 month course, I would like to work as a salesman because I like to have an active role that allows me to travel. I would like to continue studying even after this course while I work. I am not too concerned about my salary as long as I continue to learn and can keep studying and improving my knowledge of marketing, English and computers.
