An intensive formative and summative evaluation was conducted for the first phase of the Skills to Succeed in Retail program. The evaluation attempts to examine the pilot in the context of outcomes and challenges, both for the learners and the facilitators. The process of evaluation has also helped build an understanding of institutional systems, processes and constraints as well as field realities, which will provide further clarity towards defining larger program objectives and guide overall program design accordingly.

110 students enrolled in the program, of which 100 successfully completed the same. Key learning from the pilot are being leveraged for the next steps in this program:

- Creation of a blended learning model which combines digital learning tools along with a traditional classroom model

- Creation of a comprehensive facilitator development program which includes skills that supports facilitator development as a continuous process where the facilitator is also a learner rather than just providing training inputs for a particular classroom environment
