Position Summary:
The Curriculum, Pedagogy and Training Coordinator will work closely with the Program Facilitator at QUEST Alliance. The role includes anchoring the production of digital learning resources for English, Life Skills and Livelihood Skills that will enable employability of disadvantaged youth. The candidate will need to demonstrate experience in content design, research, training of trainers, digital content production, project management and story-boarding for content related to adolescent learning. This is a full time position based out of Bangalore. It is preferable that the candidate has the sound knowledge on the delivery of life skills curriculum and understand the principle of learner-centered, participatory and constructivist teaching methods. Job Description:
Curriculum Design and Management
* Lead the analysis, development and updating of curriculum for all relevant content areas in partnership with Subject Matter Experts.
* Identify and define pedagogy models for adolescent learners in both face to face and blended learning environment.
* Conduct regular learner needs assessments and trainer profiles
* Develop trainer manuals and workbooks for learner’s in partnership with Instructional Design Leads and Subject Matter Experts
Production of Digital Learning Resources
* Lead the production and content development of digital tools including multi-media, video, voice based programs in English, Lifeskills, Livelihood Skills and facilitation skills of trainers.
* Develop design documents for the blended curriculum in partnership with Instructional Design Leads and Subject Matter Experts
* Produce relevant audio and video content for specific lessons as agreed with the team.
Training and Research
* Provide training to trainers and institutions in the use of blended pedagogy and digital learning resources for teaching and learning in various subjects.
* Monitor the pedagogy being delivered in the classroom.
* Design evaluation framework and administer to test the efficacy of curriculum and digital tool.
* Develop and administer formative and summative assessment tools across partner sites.
* Analyse results from fields and provide feedback for modification in curriculum and pedagogy
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Required
* 7-10 years experience in educational content development, production, training and evaluation
* Demonstrated prior experience in working with out of school and disadvantaged youth for skills development
* A Master’s degree in education or social science
* Strong research, analysis, and organizational skills
· Self starter and/or work independently as well as in collaboration with a team in a diverse professional environment.
· Excellent time management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to identify and solve complex, multifaceted problems
* Fluency in spoken and written English, comfortable in at least one Indian regional language, in addition to Hindi
* Proficient in MS Office tools, Internet and Adobe Photoshop
* Knowledge of Video production preferred
Preferred
· Knowledgeable in CMS and LMS in e-learning and media rich content delivery
· Experience in e-learning content development for training disadvantaged youth in vocational skills
· Experience with web 2.0 technologies is preferred .
