QUEST Alliance is in a unique position to act as a fulcrum for concerted initiatives and as a catalyst to drive a positive vision and direction for ICT interventions in education. QUEST Alliance plays an important role in demystifying the usage of technology by exploring and advocating for effective usages of various existing educational technology tools. QUEST Alliance aims to demonstrate and scale the use of cost effective and sustainable education technology tools and delivery systems that enhance the quality of teaching and learning. QUEST's work in the space of enriching teaching and learning in schools comprises of following interventions:

Teacher Centric Content

Azim Premji Foundation designed a pilot initiative by using low cost technology and developing teacher centric content to effectively deliver educational content to the students. The design is a marked departure from other learning resources, which were primarily intended to be navigated by children.

Computer Assisted Learning

This program, supported by Alcatel-Lucent Foundation in partnership with Azim Premji Foundation and Pratham, implemented Computer-Assisted Instruction program to improve the quality of elementary education for underprivileged Government school children, aged 6-14 years in Mumbai and Bangalore.

Videoshala

This project was a collaboration among the Ahmedabad based DRISHTI Media Collective, Udaan Education Resource Unit and local NGOs, which sought to develop educational videos produced by community to improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools and spread important messages about diversity and citizenship.
